You Create Your Own Life.

Law Of Attraction…..What does that really mean. It is a saying that seems to be really popular. Where ever you go, who ever you speak to, the saying is bound to come up in conversation sooner or later.

It is a broad statement, and can be taken many different ways. I am a big believer in “What you put out there you will get back”…..So it does not matter what vibes you are transmitting to the universe. What You Think About Comes About.

The Secret

It is so very true…..I am not sure if you are like me, But when I first watched “The Secret” it actually took me a little while to believe the concept. Maybe I am a slow learner, or maybe it was my up bringing. Whatever the reason is, I was very unsure about “The Secret”. Once I read a few books, and googled the Secret on YouTube I started to see what the message is behind the (messages) scenes of “The Secret”.

I started thinking about little things at first. I guess you could say I was testing the waters – or testing the Universe.  Soon the asking got bigger and better. Soon enough the things that I was asking for came about. It was very spooky when I first started asking, and believing…..Now that I know What You Think About Comes About I am being very careful with my thoughts.

Your Thoughts.

Does that mean I have to “guard” all of my thoughts? Not at all, actually that would be impossible to do because thoughts are going through our brain constantly, even when we are asleep 🙂 What it does mean is that when a “negative” thought (or a thought I do not agree with) pops up into my head, then I stop and change that thought around….

It’s very simple to do. Are you practicing “The Law Of Attraction”? If not why not? Do you need to know how to attract what your heart desires? Let me know what your thoughts are, and then I can answer your ideas in  the next installment of “What You Think About Comes About” here at Woodys house 🙂

How Would You Feel If This Was You?

Today was very challenging to say the least. Actually it was bloody hard. I am still trying to get my head around it and find the silver lining in the situation.

It happened and I am at a lost with what to make of it. What Ever Happened To Respect?

As many of you are aware I am doing a nursing course in Certificate 3. If you are new to here go to Woodys Boys by clicking here to see what is happening in Woodys House.

Within the course is a person who is in need of care. Care that is only able to be provided by the right services. I am not sure of the persons situation outside of the course, and I do not know the persons history. All I know is that after watching the person I am concerned about what is going on within that person. I have watched a room full of people only worried about their needs, their own thoughts and their own feelings without thinking of the person that is going through some kind of a situation.

I am wondering what ever happened to being mindful of a person’s feelings?

Luckily the said person is in their own little world and does not know what is going on around them.

There was NO respect in that room today and I for one am ashamed that I am Australian, sitting in a room full of people who are so un-Australian.

I like to say to my Boys “Do To Others Like You Would Like Done To You” and “How would you feel if that was you, and everyone was laughing at you?” I am a big believer in doing to others as you would like done to yourself.

Choose Respect.

I found a Site “Choose Respect” with a quote on his home page that I would like to be able to share. Please Stop On By Here To see what the Owner Of The Site has as a motto. If Only we all lived by his saying, what a wonderful world we would live in 🙂

What Has Become Of Australians That We Can Not Show We Care?

I am looking beyond today and moving forward. The Silver Lining from Today? I am Proud to say that I did not laugh when the person was in the room, nor did I make fun of the said person situation.

To get my head around the whole situation I am going to be leaving you with this quote – ” To Be Yourself In A World that Is Constantly Trying To Make You something Else Is the Greatest Accomplishment” by Ralph Waldo Emerson”.

May We All Think About Another Persons Feelings Before We Act On Our Own!!

How I Spent My Weekend…..

On Saturday David and I woke up at 4.00 am so that we could be on the road by 4.20am – to be at Caboolture Station for the 5.00am train.

I was off to Brisbane for the weekend to help out at the “Think and Grow Rich” event by Stuart Zadel.

I have volunteered  before and have enjoyed myself each and every time. I knew that I would this time. Just did not realise how much I would love mixing in with the crew again….and listening to all the speakers.

There were some that I have heard before, others that were brand new. I took heaps of notes!!! And was excited to hear from the new presenters. Hearing how they have succeeded and stayed in the race no matter what was music to my ears.

The weekend was a long one, and I was very blessed to be able to stay in there overnight because David found some where for me to sleep on the Saturday night. I thought of returning home for the night and then going back on the Sunday, but it would of meant less time sleeping!!!

I get such a kick out of helping people, its just one of my things. I see, I feel and I love to be able to help others to succeed. That is why every time that I can volunteer for Think and Grow Rich I will be there with bells on 🙂

Even though it was Valentines Day, and David was very upset that I was not going to be home to miss it……It was so very worth it.

At The End Of My Amazing Weekend

I even returned home at 1.00 am Monday morning to a clean house, fresh flowers in the kitchen and fresh flowers in my bedroom, with heart shaped cookies and a feeling of contentment.

Life is what you make it, and believe me when I say 2010 is our year of success, dreams coming true, and more abundance in our life in every way.

What are your thoughts? What did you do this weekend gone to make sure your life is different and moving forward?

Think and Grow Rich.

Here’s to your changes.
